I / 01 · The Library The Instruments Cable sizing, voltage drop, maximum demand, earthing grids, motor starting, power factor, protection coordination — every instrument cited to its governing AS/NZS, IEEE or IEC clause, every report typeset and traceable to its source.
I / 02 · The Practice The Paperwork Projects and revisions, clients, jobs, quotes, fee proposals, invoices and timesheets around the calculation — so the number that was checked is the number that gets signed, sent and billed.

II / 02 · Verification Verified Before Issued The server independently re-computes every calculation and refuses to issue a report that does not agree — to the last decimal — with what you saw on screen.
II / 03 · Boundary AI Away From the Numbers AI may draft the prose of a fee proposal; it never touches a figure. Prices come from your rate card, engineering values from the engines, to the cent.

III / 01 · The Engineer

Ampacities is designed and maintained by Bijan Adinehpoor, a practising electrical and renewable-energy engineer — BE (Hons), Australia's National Engineering Register — who has sat on the other side of the platform: sizing the cable that has to pass inspection, signing the report whose numbers will be tested. Nothing ships unless it would hold up in the field.

III / 02 · The Studio

Ampacities is a product of Aphelion Engineering Pty Ltd, an independent Australian software studio in Perth building precision tools for the trades and the technical. Aphelion — the farthest, slowest point of an orbit — is a deliberate metaphor: this is the careful part of the work, and we would rather move slowly and be correct.
